Zifam Lactofer combines Ferrous Bisglycinate, a bioavailable form of iron, with Lactoferrin, to help increase the iron absorption. Iron is necessary for the formation of haemoglobin, which transports oxygen to tissues. By combining Ferrous Bisglycinate with Lactoferrin, Lactofer provides a better bioavailable form of iron supplement, which may assist in the management of dietary iron deficiency.

Lactofer also provides a daily dose of 500 mcg of Folic Acid which, if taken daily for one month before conception and during pregnancy, may reduce the risk of women having a child with birth defects such as Spina Bifida and Anencephaly.Lactofer may assist in the management of dietary Folic Acid deficiency. The Iron and Folic Acid in Lactofer can also assist in maintaining healthy blood.

Me B12 contains Mecobalamin (Co-Methylcobalamin), an active form of Vitamin B12 and a form of Vitamin B12 used in the body.
